In order to further facilitate personnel exchanges, China would implement the following policies from 15 March 2023:

1.Foreign nationals holding valid visas issued before 28 March 2020 are allowed to enter China.

2.Visa-issuing authorities abroad could accept application of all categories of visa for foreign nationals. For details, please refer to China Consular Services website (http://cs.mfa.gov.cn/wgrlh/lhqz/lhqzjjs/201311/t20131101_961583.shtml).

3.Port visa authorities will resume issue of categories of port visa in compliance with statutory reasons.

4.Hainan visa-free policy, visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong or Macao SAR, and Guangxi visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries resumes.
