The Chinese community in Malawi has voiced their condemnation to racism in strong words. They’re good-will, friendly and law-abiding people. The isolated case by a fool individual does not change the whole picture.

A consensus on zero tolerance for racism has been reached in the latest interacts between the Embassy and Malawi Government. The visiting Director-General Wu Peng from Chinese FM pledged to Hon. Nancy Tembo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi that China has been cracking down on unlawful online acts in the past years and will continue to do so. The Embassy will closely work with the Malawi side and see to it that this unfortunate issue be properly addressed.
