On June 7th, Chinese Ambassador to Malawi, H.E. Lu Xu attended the 24th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition.

Ambassador Lu stated that as the vivid example of The Global Civilization Initiative, “Chinese Bridge” is not just a competition of linguistic skills, but a bridge connecting cultures, hearts and peoples. Ambassador Lu encouraged young students of Malawi to learn Chinese and become active promoters of China-Malawi friendship.

During the competition, contestants showcased their talent in Chinese language through delivering speeches and performances.

Teachers and students from local schools of Malawi,  representatives from Chinese enterprises and communities attended the event.
