On October 24, Chargé d’Affaires a.i of the Chinese Embassy in Malawi Wang Hao met with the Malawi Police Inspector General Mrs. Merlyne Yolamu.

Wang introduced to Yolamu the “Global Security Initiative” and other policy proposals of China, and exchanged views with her on the China-Malawi police and law enforcement cooperation, coordination in multilateral occasions, as well as the protection of the rights and interests of Chinese citizens in Malawi.

Yolamu spoke highly of the China-Malawi relations, especially the bilateral exchanges and cooperation between police and law enforcement agencies. She promised that Malawi will continue to ensure a favorable and secure environment for Chinese citizens in Malawi.
