On March 13th, Chinese Ambassador to Malawi, Mme.Lu Xu, met with Ms.Nomagugu Hanyana Ncube, representative of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Malawi. The two sides exchanged views on Malawi’s border management, migrant protection and resettlement of disaster affected people.

Ambassador Lu elaborated on the Global Security Initiative and China's useful practices in the above areas. The two sides discussed IOM's work in Malawi, and expressed their willingness to further strengthen communication and cooperation.
