On March 14th, Chinese Ambassador to Malawi, Mme. Lu Xu met with Mr. David Chipanta, Country Director and Representative of Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) to Malawi. 

Mr. Chipanta briefed to Mme.Lu the work of UNAIDS in Malawi, hoping to strengthen cooperation with China to jointly assist the medical and healthcare development of Malawi.

Ambassador Lu shared the recent development on the Partnership Action for Health, one of the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), stressed that the Chinese Embassy in Malawi is willing to work with UNAIDS to make greater contributions to Malawi's fight against HIV/AIDS.
