On March 28, Chinese Ambassador to Malawi, Lu Xu, met with Professor Address Malata, Vice Chancellor of Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST). The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening China-Malawi educational cooperation and promoting talent exchange. Counsellor Zhang Chunfa accompanied the meeting.  

Professor Malata expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for providing medical teaching equipment and instruments to MUST. She also expressed hope for establishing partnerships with more Chinese universities to receive broader educational support. Ambassador Lu stated that China highly values educational cooperation with Malawi and is willing to continue its support for the development of MUST, helping Malawi cultivate more high-level scientific and technological talent, and contributing to the country's economic transformation and improvement of people's livelihoods.
