On 23 April, Ambassador Lu Xu attended the working meeting of Chinese enterprises operating in the country. Chaired by Counsellor Zhang Chunfa, the meeting brought together representatives from nearly 30 Chinese companies, including China Railway 20th Bureau Group, Huawei Technologies, Sinohydro, and WAH KONG Construction Engineering.

During the meeting, enterprises delivered work reports. Ambassador Lu noted when she concluded the meeting that following the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, China-Malawi relations have further deepened, presenting new development opportunities for Chinese businesses. She encouraged all companies to enhance their safety awareness, build greater confidence in their development prospects, and contribute actively to the high-quality growth of China-Malawi economic and trade cooperation.
