On May 6th,Chinese Ambassador to Malawi, Mme. Lu Xu, met with Ms. Letty Chiwara, Representative of the UN Women in Malawi. Ambassador Lu briefed on China’s effort to improve women’s welfare, and engaged in discussions with Ms. Letty Chiwara regarding the UN Women operations in the country. The two sides expressed their willingness to strengthen communication and cooperation to jointly assist the development of the women’s cause in Malawi.
