On 17th of July, the Chinese Embassy in Malawi held a farewell and welcome reception for the 11th and 12th China medical teams. The Chinese Ambassador to Malawi, H.E. Lu Xu and Health Minister Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda attended the event and delivered speeches. 

Ambassador Lu Xu paid tribute to the departing China Medical Team for their dedication and successful operation, and encouraged the new arrivals to live up to the trust and continue to make contributions. She reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Malawi’s health sector. Minister Chipona expressed her sincere gratitude to China for its long-term valuable support and commended the outgoing China Medical Teams for their outstanding service in Malawi.
